solo
December 18, 2010
Near the end of the course each student is dropped off in the middle of a paddock for two days of solo. No music, camera, or books (except the Bible). They are allowed a sleeping bag and a tarp. Most students have never been alone this long in their life without modern conveniences or someone to talk to. The stories and revelations the students came back with were funny and encouraging.

Beautiful landscape. Being alone is so important. And something I need to remember to do more often. Without the computer and wonderful blogs to get lost in like yours 🙂
